My name is Sjoerd van den Nieuwenhof, I am 41 years old and work as an IT Consultant with a focus on End User Computing (EUC).
I am also the owner of New Yard.
In recent years I have gained a lot of experience with Citrix, VMware, Microsoft and Nvidia, and have been involved in designing and implementing various environments for customers.
For me, the user experience of the end user is always at the center of this.
As a consultant, I closely follow the developments of the EUC vendors (Citrix, VMware, Microsoft, Nvidia) so that I can always support my customers with the latest technology.
In addition, I am a great believer in knowledge sharing, which is why I keep a blog (external link) where I share my experiences and knowledge.
Since February 15, 2023, I may also call myself a CTA, a status I am immensely proud of.

The name New Yard
The name 'New Yard' is a corruption of the owner's last name, 'van den Nieuwenhof'. Friends often called him 'Nieuwentuin,' which led to the idea of translating this into a company name: 'Nieuw' becomes 'New' and 'Tuin' becomes 'Yard.'
