What is Sectigo?
Sectigo is one of the largest Certificate Authorities in the world and develops not only certificates but also the platform for managing them: Sectigo Certificate Manager. This cloud-native platform provides full visibility and automated lifecycle management of all certificates in an organization, regardless of issuer or certificate type.
Certificates secure Web sites, applications, e-mail, devices and code signing. The number of certificates in organizations is increasing rapidly, while the validity period is decreasing. Starting in March 2026, the maximum lifetime of SSL/TLS certificates will be reduced to 200 days, in 2029 to 47 days. Without automated management, this inevitably leads to expired certificates, outages and security risks.

SSL/TLS automation
Automatically manage the lifecycle of all SSL/TLS certificates in your server environment, including certificates from publishers other than Sectigo.
S/MIME email certificates
Digitally sign and encrypt business email via S/MIME certificates. Protects against email manipulation and proves sender identity.
What organizations is Sectigo Certificate Manager suitable for?
Spreadsheets and calendar reminders for certificate renewal are error-prone. An expired certificate leads directly to user outages or security alerts.
Starting in 2026, SSL/TLS certificates will be valid for a maximum of 200 days, and in 2029, a maximum of 47 days. Without automation, manual tracking becomes untenable.
