As of November 1, 2026, New Yard will be located at Marinus Dammeweg 25 in Venlo, at the premises of Systemec. This new location also marks the start of a partnership between the two IT companies. By combining specialist knowledge and services, New Yard and Systemec aim to strengthen each other and provide even better support to their clients.
Two companies, complementary specialisms
New Yard specializes in remote workspaces and Digital Employee Experience (DEX). Using technologies such as Citrix, Microsoft RDS, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Parallels, New Yard supports organizations in designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing their workspace environments.
The focus is primarily on the end-user experience. A digital workspace must function securely, quickly, and reliably, regardless of where an employee is working.
Systemec is a versatile IT service provider with its own data centers in the Netherlands and Germany. The company offers a broad service portfolio in managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity, networks, connectivity, and workplace management.
The expertise of both companies complements each other in various areas. While Systemec provides a wide range of IT services, New Yard brings additional specialist knowledge in remote workspaces, application virtualization, and user experience.
Achieving more for clients together
The partnership offers opportunities to support clients across different disciplines.
Consider, for example, organizations that have their IT infrastructure or hosting with Systemec and require specialist support for a Citrix or Parallels environment. It also benefits organizations looking to modernize their workspace environment, improve performance, or gain more insight into the digital user experience.
Conversely, New Yard can leverage Systemec’s expertise and services for questions regarding hosting, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or connectivity.
By sharing knowledge and involving each other in client issues where necessary, a partnership is created in which both companies can continue to focus on their own specialisms.
The common goal is clear: to better support clients with reliable IT solutions, specialist knowledge, and short lines of communication.
Opportunities in the German market
In addition to the partnership in the Netherlands, New Yard and Systemec are exploring opportunities to further expand New Yard’s activities into Germany.
Systemec is already active in both the Netherlands and Germany and has a network and local presence in the border region.
For New Yard, this partnership offers the opportunity to further explore prospects in the German market with Systemec’s support.
No concrete expansion plans have been announced yet. The coming period will primarily focus on exploring possibilities and further developing the partnership.
Remaining independent, becoming stronger together
New Yard remains a fully independent company, with its own identity, clients, and specialism.
The partnership is not a merger or acquisition. It is a deliberate choice to strengthen one another. Both companies maintain their own services and can utilize each other’s knowledge and experience where necessary.
For Sjoerd van den Nieuwenhof, founder of New Yard, this step is an important moment in the further development of his company.
“I find it remarkable to see how another entrepreneur is willing to share his knowledge, network, and resources to help me grow further. We don’t all have to do the same thing to strengthen each other. It is precisely by working together that we can mean more to our clients.”
A special word of thanks goes to Sjoerd Derkx, owner of Systemec, and Bas van Lierop for their involvement, support, and for making this partnership possible.
